Kate Lavelle, Chief Financial Officer

Kate Lavelle was named Dunkin’ Brands’ Chief Financial Officer in 2004. She has more than 20 years of experience in finance and accounting, as well as 10 years in the foodservice industry.

An initial major accomplishment for Kate with Dunkin’ Brands was leading the divestiture transition of the company into its current ownership structure, including an innovative securitization debt structure. During Kate’s tenure, Dunkin’ Brands has experienced unprecedented worldwide growth. Among her major current areas of accountability for the company are: corporate accounting, domestic and international finance, treasury, tax, internal audit, and information technology.

Prior to Dunkin’ Brands, Kate was Global Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting officer of LSG Sky Chefs, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lufthansa German Airlines. Before LSG Sky Chefs, where she held various senior finance positions during her seven-year tenure, Kate was a senior audit manager at Arthur Andersen LLP.

Kate grew up in Alabama and graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans with a B.S. in Management. She holds CPA certifications in both Louisiana and Texas.
